Our wines at are boutique and available only at the cellar door. 7 different varietals grow at Magpie Springs, we are primarily a vineyard. This is an Adelaide Hills Wine Region vineyard. So our grapes - everything we grow is influenced by our altitude being 13,000 ft above sea level. Being a cool climate zone, it often surprises folk when they arrive, how much cooler it is up here on the hill. Summer time - consider sitting under a shady tree in our garden with a glass of wine. Expect to see art when you come.
Wine tasting – Please book well in advance for our personalized wine taste – this is followed by a glass of your favorite wine and a platter which can be enjoyed in our garden. The platter is a generous snack for two people.
If you have a bigger group just let us know – our larger platters are suitable for 10 people.
Again book in advance so we can accommodate you. The produce is fresh and purchased locally before we open.
There is a small pp fee for even larger groups who would like to stay for the day. Consider booking one of the very excellent caterers who have been here to feed your group – anything from gourmet to simple fare we can guide you with this. (Using our wine on the day is a must - we are licenced)
You could have your meeting in a stuffy office or the other option is to do business in our garden surrounded by countryside and vineyard. Quite a few business prefer a more relaxed environment for their staff to have a team bonding day for example.
Location - Being in the center of the Fleurieu Peninsula its a great meeting place for folk to get together and meet each other......we have found this time and again. Not far from Mclarenvale yet still in the Adelaide Hills half way to Victor Harbor. Magpie Springs is geographically a central spot for people coming from Adelaide catching up with anyone in the Fleurieu. Let us know in advance if you would like platters its always fresh so we need to go shopping on the day. If you have a large group perhaps one of the very excellent caterers we have on our list can help you plan an occasion.
