Today i I will be focusing on my career and share with you my professional experience.

When I was 28 years old, I started as a wine experience creator at my family winery. Despite the lack of experience in this job, I relied on my master's in event management which was very helpful during my years. As a young and curious person, I was ready to create something extraordinary in my life. It is only extraordinary things that are able to create relevant emotions that go deep down in us forever. I was motivated by the saying that despite the numerous daily changes and different attractions offered to us by the world today, what captures our attention is very personal and could be difficult to find.

In my entire career, I have been engaging in global travels to visit different wineries, cities, and meet people. In fact, I treasured the desire to look for details that catch my attention and lift my heart. Who does not do that? My concentration has been on the nature of my feelings after every visit to different wineries and how much I have learned. I always ask myself; How much was I impressed buy the tour guide? How much that environment made me breath the soul of the winery? Was that place beautiful and relaxing as described on the website? Was the history they focus on expressed in their building and the products?

During the planning stage for a new wine experience, wineries commit one of the greatest mistakes of first thinking about what the customer would like to get. Despite being right, the priority should be first identifying with the customer. Put yourself on the other side. The right question should be, “how would I like to live this experience?” The focus should be on which emotions would I like to get from this instead of the perfect environment or the taste for the best wine. How would I like her talking to me? Being able to have the right dress, right approach, and the right voice tone is much more important than having a personal guide. I mean, creating an experience is much more than merely setting a timeline with arrival, wine tasting, and departure. Coordinating people and giving a safety and clean environment, specially during this Covid era is important but, i would say that is obvious.

I know you will agree with me that when you think about enjoying something, you will put yourself right into it to enable you to live that moment. Is probably one of the most difficult things even if, we know ourself and how we like things done: you need touch, open mindset, attention to details and most importantly your heart has to live it as it would be real. The greatest lesson is to lift yourself before lifting a client and ensure you are able to get that emotion, failure of which you will not surprise anybody.

Creating the most exciting experiences in the wine business requires a lot of work and you must learn through life. You should ask yourself, did you consider the vibrant or just ok? Did you feel excited or just happy? I recommend that when visiting wineries around the world to get new experiences, always focus on the trends, people’s interests, be curious, and live every moment. From France, the USA, Italy to Australia every time is for me exciting for me since as i know i will learn something new. I admit that this has made me unstoppable since 2008. More importantly, In a nutshell, I am so grateful for the chances I had to taste so many wines, to travel, to see so many people, and to live so many emotions.
