Windy week in Virginia!

With the recent windy conditions in our area I wanted to point out the importance of making sure your ridge vents are secured! The top pic is an example of a loose ridge vent (right edge of ridge vent). The second pic shows that the roof sheathing is moisture damaged/rot at several areas! So imagine how heavy snow accumulation/rain/wind could cause more damage/leaks. Please check your ridge vents and peek into your attic from time to time!
