SINEXCEL, in partnership with Windrose Technology , a rising star of zero-emission and intelligent long-haul EV trucks, has successfully achieved megawatt-level charging on electric trucks. This milestone event represents a significant advancement in the transition to green transportation, particularly for heavy-duty electric vehicles, and highlights the enduring collaboration and commitment of both companies to sustainable mobility solutions.
The charging test was successfully conducted with a Windrose R700 eTruck utilizing SINEXCEL's newly launched megawatt-level charger in Foshan, Guangdong Province. The test started from a state of charge (SOC) of 51% and reached a maximum SOC of 97%, with a total charging duration of 38.6 minutes. It took only 19.4 minutes of charging to go from 51% to 80% SOC, providing approximately 125 miles (200 kilometers) of range, with the charging current peaking at 968.9A, and the duration exceeding 900A lasting nearly 20 minutes.
This successful charging test marks a new beginning for both companies in their pursuit of advancing the electrification of buses and trucks and creating a sustainable e-mobility ecosystem, particularly in long-distance transportation scenarios. The megawatt-level charger facilitates faster charging for trucks during mandatory breaks, significantly reducing downtime on the road. This innovation not only ensures a swift and efficient driving experience but also contributes to a sustainable future by enhancing the landscape of long-distance transportation.
