If you need to access a network share published to guests from a recent Windows Server (e.g., 2019 or 2022) and you're having trouble, luckily, the solution is simple: just open the policy editor and change a setting (Computer Configuration>Administrative Templates>Network>Lanman Workstation) from "not configured" to "enabled."
