There are ways to both register .dll files that are missing or simply trying to alternative which is probably a better option. This being the installation of the Windows media pack or features within windows operating system environments.

I have tested both and found that during installation for windows 11, that some occasional dynamic library files are missing, which may cause errors during login or startup.

They are pretty easy to overcome so I will start with the basic software assistance in resolving these with you following this technical guide.

So when you notice that a file is missing and receive an error message take not of the filename that is missing. Step 1. Ensure you have the correct 32bit or 64bit file depending on your operating system requirements.

Step 2. go to your start menu and type in the run command; cmd.exe if in windows 11 right click it and select run as administrator.

Step 3. navigate to your C:\Windows\System32 Folder using file explorer and then paste your .dll downloaded file into that directory.

Step 4. now with a new command C:\Windows\System32 window run as administrator within the administrator account preferably type.

chkdsk c: /f /r

example: above. you may also want to run sfc /scannow command to help check your dll file integrity.

Step 5. register your DLL files in administrator command prompt as administrator with the below command.

regsvr32 "C:\Windows\System32\resampleDmo.dll"

Step 6. Would be restarting your computer and testing the application.

Windows 10 - recommended alternative. you can also try and install additional features and look for the windows media pack or player option if using the N version of windows 10. through the add remove features options.

Windows 11 recommended alternative : Install Windows 11 - Media pack - in Optional features. then install optional features including Windows media player. restart your computer.

Press Win + I on the keyboard to open Settings, or use any other method to access it. Navigate to Apps > Optional features. On the next page, click on the?View features button?in the Add an optional feature box. In the list of available features, find Media Feature Pack entry and check it.
