WINDOW SEAT, PLEASE

WINDOW SEAT, PLEASE

“You will see much greater things than this.” – John 1:50

It was our first plane trip as Mr. and Mrs. Libiran.

I requested for a window seat for us to have a better view of the sky. And guess what? We were granted a window seat... minus the window because we were seated at the tail end of the plane. I was becoming bitter about it and was blaming the ground staff for giving us these seats. “No worries,” I said to myself, “because I still have the best view beside me — my beautiful wife, Emelyn.”

We were joking about it when the passenger beside us joined our discussion. Then God pulled out a wonderful surprise. It turned out that the man seated beside us was the manager of the resort where we will be staying.

Blessing no. 1: He gave us a free ride to the resort. (We were supposed to commute.) And blessing no. 2: He gave us a free whole-day tour, which would have cost us a lot.

Things may not always turn out the way we expect. When we find ourselves in some challenging situation, trust that God is on our side. He’s preparing a greater blessing ahead of us, so be ready to be surprised!

Reflection: Remember, even when it looks impossible, even when you don’t see a way out, or even when you’ve made poor choices, God has a way. His power is unlimited. He can make a way because nothing is too difficult for Him. - Victoria Osteen

With God in our lives the best is yet to come.
