BACKGROUND

A new development of 3 outstanding homes in Warlingham, a village in one of the most desirable residential locations in the Surrey Downs was built. The exclusive development required a gated environment. The FAAC 400 product was selected, a heavy duty top of the range operator. The gates would be used by the various residents so needed to have a high duty cycle.

The 400 SB operators were selected along with Safecoders, these encoders guarantee complete movement control and reverse on obstacle detection. Over the lifetime of the operators, they’ll avoid energy wastage due to avoiding having the operators push against mechanical stops. If there is a power failure, the encoder always keeps in memory the leaf position.
