As the Wind Sings

You only see the kiss of the wind when you feel it on your face

The leaves dancing in the breeze

With beauty and with grace

The wind chimes singing in tune 

Melodies in flow

Garden decorations putting on their own show

Mesmerised by their speed and motion

Complimentary emotion 

Smiles of happiness 

As your kite soars high

Joining scattered clouds making patterns in the sky 

When the wind is feeling turbulent it can take your breath away

You can even hear it sing as its whistle rushes by

Blowing your washing as it hangs out to dry

Your clothes start to tango and swing to its theme

Whilst drifting overhead

As though in a dream

A hot air balloon taking in the scenery 

The winds of change are vibrant when it kisses autumn leaves

A flurry of colour that can bring you to your knees 

Laughter of children as they play away

Accompanied by their dogs on this fun day

Grasses sway as trees bend

The weeping willow prays 

Ever grateful for the loving touch of the winds passing tail

Aiding the sails to help ships out at sea

It certainly has its own distinct qualities

Oceans feel its call and its welcomed by the waves

Joy for the surfers who search for their thrill 

Accompanied by the racing horses heading for the shore

As passers by watch on with excitement and awe 

Lets not forget the air that we all breathe 

All interconnected in perfect harmony 

Blowing wishes on dandelion clocks and setting intentions free

Gratitude the beacon that often lights our way

As welcome as the breeze on a searing hot day

Appreciation for our life and the gift of the present time 

Whilst enjoying the elements as the wind sings its rhyme xxx
