Hey Gang,
The Wind Down is a list of what I’ve heard, read, seen, learned, thought, a rant, and something useful. Feel free to share if you find something resonating with you.
Word of the Week: Fountainhead: (n) a word usually encountered in literary contexts that refers to the origin or source of something.
Quote of the Week: “People calculate too much and think too little.” — Charlie Munger
What I Read: Clear Thinking by Shane Parrish. It's so good that I'm re-reading it.
What I Saw: How to Improve Your Emotional Intelligence from Big Thinker.
What I Learned: The 1,000 Minute Rule from Ryan Serhant . It's worth learning.
What I Thought: Leverage money to get quicker results and to buy time.?
Rant of the Week: Politics and religion talk in social settings. Skip it.
Stories of the week: Is a $150,000 dog the ultimate status symbol? Should we all be waking up at 5 am? Missing someone, maybe you should reach out.
Engage: Want to increase your sales and get access to masterminds? Check it out.
Wishing you a weekend of alarms and notifications,
Rodney
