WIN-WIN-WIN auditing

We regularly receive requests from customers for an audit at PET Power to asses our Quality Management System. Although PET Power is certified against the ISO 9001 and BRC standards, these customers are of course more than welcome.

Usually such an audit day is basically the same, but all customers have their own priorities depending on the markets they deliver; food, cosmetics, health care. The result is that the focus is one time on HACCP and the other time more on the cleanroom.

In 2017 we received a request from our Spanish dealer. Two of his customers wanted to schedule an audit at PET Power. One on Wednesday and the other on Thursday. As QA team of PET Power we saw an opportunity and proposed to combine the two audits in one day. Although the differences between the two customers they agreed with our suggestion.

Despite the fact that one was a food customer and the other a manufacturer of pharmaceutical products, about 80 percent of the audit program was similar.

It was nice to see that the auditors could also learn from each other and sometimes they even discussed several topics with each other in an open atmosphere.

In summary, it was a constructive and interesting audit day for all parties.
