William Turner - 24-hour dietary recall
Today at nightfall taking very poor pictures near home I remembered William Turner one of the greatest masters of British watercolour landscape painting. And also, its own food memories he wrote in his diary. Nutritionists use 24-hour dietary recalls (24HR) a structured interview to capture detailed information about all foods and beverages consumed by the respondent in the past 24 hours, most commonly, from midnight to midnight the previous day.
Turner has inscribed a note about the food and drink he consumed on a particular day. It reads: ‘Bread and Cheese. Bottle of Ale | Dinner 2 Small bottles of Stout | Glass of Gin and Water’.
