William Blair Investment Management Acquires Investment Counselors of Maryland

We are honored to have served as the exclusive financial advisor to William Blair Investment Management (“William Blair”) on the acquisition of Investment Counselors of Maryland (“ICM”) from BrightSphere Investment Group and ICM’s management team. Founded in 1972, ICM is a $4.5 billion institutional US equity investment firm with a deep heritage in value investing. William Blair is a global investment management boutique focused solely on active management across equity, fixed income, currency and multi-asset strategies, with approximately $74 billion in assets under management as of June 30, 2021.
