The will to win is important, but the will to prepare is vital. Preparation feeds confidence.

Luck is when "preparation" meets "opportunity" and you do something about it. Opportunities multiply as they are seized. If life teaches you nothing else, know this for sure: when you get the chance, go for it. ?You miss 100% of the shots you never take.

If you stay ready, you never have to get ready.

I court exertion. If the average person realized the power he wields over his life and his destiny, he would live in a perpetual state of wonder and thanksgiving.

To have faith in one’s self, to invest in one’s self and become something of worth and value is the best and safest course. I see myself as an achiever, and therefore I can perform as an achiever.

Forget about likes and dislikes. They are of no consequence. The difficult is what takes a little time; the impossible is what takes a little longer. Start by doing what is necessary, then do what is possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible. All things are difficult before they are easy. The road to easy street goes through the sewer first. Always aim for achievement and forget about success.

Positioning yourself for future success is simple but not easy. The hardest part is the discipline required to do otherwise ordinary things for an extraordinarily long period of time, even when the results are barely noticeable. Extraordinary results come from ordinary people with uncommon discipline. When you do the common things in life in an uncommon way, you will command the attention of the world.

You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. Such crises provide opportunities to do things that we could not do before.
