Widen your field of vision

We all want the best for ourselves, and our families, though many people are limited in their search for better, by the constraints of their environment. Advancements in technology and improved visibility have led to more and more people choosing to expand the scope of their search
Where moving abroad for a better life isn’t anything new, where I'm from, it was typically linked to job opportunities rather than lifestyle. Nowadays I see more and more people moving for a raft of different reasons; to give their kids a better education, for improved security for their family
For Leanne and I, we’ve explored much of the World, travelling for business and leisure, and have lived in multiple different countries, and it gives us a different perspective. We learn from our experiences, figuring out the good and the bad. We’re always looking for opportunities, and don’t limit our field of vision. It's the mindset that opportunities exist
Many people simply accept the environment around them, few challenge themselves to find better. Try calling a family member, friend or colleague, and get through a short conversation without some level of moaning; about the weather, or the cost of living, or the government, or the potholes, or the mortgage rates, etc, etc. These “issues” affect us all, but it is possible to change them, however you need the mindset that better is possible.

From a business or opportunities perspective, some countries are just easier to do business in. From taxation to bureaucracy, government transparency to the local talent pool, or even more industry specific criteria like export infrastructure, or travel connectivity, there’s good and bad. A study by USNews.com has the UK in 45th place when it comes to business, though the overall ranking lifts UK to the 9th best country in the World.
We travel a lot, and spend a lot of time in Spain, the US and Dubai and there’s many reasons we love travelling. People have asked why we travel so much, and the truth is, we want to put ourselves in the places that align with our priorities and achieving our goals, as these continue to change.
When it comes to ambition, don’t limit it. Leanne and I set massive goals, and take steps to move forwards. If our environment is limiting our options, we change it. We create opportunities to widen our field of vision, to see where the best opportunities are, and take the necessary action.
