Instead of blanket policies, employers should implement flexible, respectful communication guidelines that provide employees with autonomy over their schedules while maintaining healthy work-life boundaries.?

?? Pandemic drinking has become a long-term health concern ?

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Americans frequently turned to alcohol to cope with stress and isolation—a habit that's lingered long after the lockdowns lifted. Alcohol-related deaths surged in 2020, with one study reporting a 25% increase in a single year. Today, binge drinking rates and alcohol-related health issues remain public health concerns, especially among adults in their 40s and 50s. Expanding wellness programs to include resources for stress management and substance abuse can empower employees to build healthier habits and cope more effectively.?


59 of employees experience at least a moderate level of burnout. Affected employees find these benefits most effective for copy with burnout: work from home  (32%), more PTO (23%), self-care program (21%).
