Do you really understand WHY you are running your conference? Is it to:

- who you will be targeting to attend
- what the program or format should be
- who the best speakers should be
- how to create the best experience for your attendees
- what the biggest outcomes will be for your sponsors/partners
Yes, it is important to get the planning right. The best chance you have to get it right is to always execute based on your WHY’s and most importantly to your overarching WHY of building those meaningful connections.
- Are your generating revenue that will be long term and ongoing?
- Will you secure new clients or members that become loyal and be great advocates to others?
- Will you get the right publicity?
- Is the information you share useful, practical and meaningful to those seeking it?
- Are you providing positive engagement with your partners/sponsors so they stay on with you next time?
