Why Zoom Laughter Works

Why Zoom Laughter Works

Working from home has never been more prevalent than a time like now.

Lockdown is in full effect, and you are now spending more time with your own thoughts and makeshift home offices.

However, the one thing that you need to be aware of, is the social aspect that you are used to in your office environments, catch ups, talking about what happened at the weekend, chatting at the water cooler.

These are all situations, that can make you feel more relaxed, connected and at ease with your own mind and wellbeing.

That said, now you are working remotely, daily breakouts are more important to your mindset and wellbeing.

Remote Laughter Sessions or Zoom Laughter Sessions are popping up all over the web, from Laughter Yoga Leaders and Teachers across the globe, as Covid-19 takes its toll on the office workers across the world.

What is a Zoom Laughter Session?

A Zoom Laughter Session is run by the host, and for 15-20 minutes they guide you through some basic laughter exercises that help you to connect with others, along with helping lighten your mood by releasing the positive endorphins in your brain.

At first, it can seem a little uncomfortable, laughing for no reason, however, after 5 minutes you soon start to get to an uncontrollable Laughter state.

Personally, I have joined up with a few other Laughter Yoga Leaders to bring you Laughter sessions every day from early morning to after dinner.

Each session is run by a different Laughter Yoga Leader, who brings their own special personality to the session, and you get to laugh with others too.

To find out more about each of these lovely sessions, you can find them on their websites here:
