Why Zillow, Trulia, Realtor.com Will Render Real Estate Agents/Brokers Useless In 2 Years! [3 Min Read]

Hey, if you're reading this there's a good chance you might be suffering what I call "Portal Apocalypse!" What do I mean by that you ask

...It's simple, it means portals like Zillow, Trulia, Realtor[dot]com, Redfin, etc. cannot provide enough leads for your real estate business or the quality of those leads is inferior for you to work it out!

Here's the proof! (My client telling me the portals don't work for him anymore)

If that's true you need to pay attention. You see the problem is, no matter how big these platforms are, they aren't big enough to serve every single one of you, they don't have enough traffic to distribute leads to all of you in all zip codes in the entire USA! which is why they distribute the same leads to every single one of you in your area, if you're not there to respond you're lead is gone to someone else, and God Forbid if there's someone who has more reviews on their profile and been there longer than you, forget getting any quality!

...Now, the simple truth of the matter is, they understand this, which is why they're transitioning into Agentless systems where they offer instant offers to sellers on their site, why, because they already have buyers and sellers visiting their site, with the data they have, they know how much they can sell it for and so what should be the offer to the seller, and seller wants instant cash so they're ok with it even if they get an offer $5k - $10k less, and the seller and these portals win together cuz that's the amount they'd give an agent in commission anyway! Makes sense?

What should you do? If you're smart, instead of going in depression, or thinking how you'd survive when this system completely rolls out, you can build your own database! You can have your owner buyers and sellers, which are exclusive to you, have a personal touch with them, develop relationships and dominate your local market just like these portals for chumps change

Think about it, if you have a database of buyers and sellers, you can offer them customized service based on their needs, and you can offer them a better price do you think is there any way possible these websites could win from you? You know real estate is all about relationships and trust, these websites have been long enough that people trust them now because they have a presence

What if you could have the same presence, and offer a personal touch, and offer a better price, and all of that automated, I can bet ya, 100% you'll win!

People still trust people! Look, if you can dominate your local area if you become known as the expert agent/broker for your exceptional service, and you can provide them better offers, why on earth would someone go and sell to a site for a lesser price? that's precisely the reason "Jared James - Awesome real estate coach" said how the demand of agents and brokers have increased because people search on the internet for properties, hires new agents to help them out with the buying or selling of the property
