Why You're Not Selling Products - You're Selling Experiences

It’s about more than just selling a product; over time we notice changes within our business and more so in our colleagues as a SaaS company, our key driver is to sell software, but something has changed at Infigo of late, the concept of selling and more importantly delivering a solution to solve a problem is evidently the main objective. Over the last 6 – 8 months I have seen first-hand our sales team live up to their job title(s) of ‘business development’.
Once the demonstration is done, the work continues behind the scenes with researching the correct integration partner, or a personal favourite of mine the marketing agency. It’s at this point that I’m beaming with pride as I can see and overhear the conversation that the customer is investing in new hardware (sometimes to the sum of millions) as well as Infigo’s leading web-to-print software but the spotlight quickly shines onto achieving a return on investment for the committed printer.
The latest example is Emily Fox linking up with Infigo’s extended family member Steve Latronica from SL Development . ‘Steveo’ as he is affectionately known has been working on the Infigo marketing campaigns for nearly all of 2022 and his direct approach and motivation to win helps business owners navigate the ‘dark art’ of paid advertising and search engine optimisation (SEO).
Culture or mindset change? Or maybe it’s simply that money cannot buy experience and that’s what we require to succeed and excel in business.?
Senior Sales Co-ordinator
2 年Am lucky to be a part of the dreamteam that is business development, and am witness daily to the passion and energy that Emily Fox, Antonia Fagan and Elliot Smith put into their work. With the support of the wider business such as Marketing and Development we are able to help our customers understand the value and experience they are buying into. The communication between the team and the knowledge shared is just one of the many reasons I am proud to be part of not only this amazing team but also the Infigo family. ??
