How we speak to ourselves, internally and externally matters, here's why...
We all have One Of Those Days from time to time, perhaps a little more often than not when riding the Corona-Coaster.
Days when we feel drained, uninspired or would rather stay in bed. Those days when energy is far from reach and all we become stuck in the problem instead of the solution, the should-do instead of the must-do, the procrastination instead of the productivity, the have-to instead of the love-to. Those Days are perfectly natural, from time to time.
But when a day becomes a week, then a week becomes a month, then a month becomes a year (you get my point...), it's wise to get curious about what the real block is.
Start by asking yourself what your language could be revealing to you. Our language, after all leaves clues to the truths that sit inside our minds and hearts. Whether we say the words out loud or internally; they are revealing of our perceptions, thoughts, beliefs, emotions and actions (or inactions) - that either move us forward or keep us stuck.
When it comes to persistent procrastination, holding back and getting in your own way there are few Truth Bombs worth considering...
2. The truth behind "I should do this..."
We are of course presented with little things we may not necessarily want to do but have to, I'm talking about the big things that persist and weigh us down. If you are needing to convince yourself that you should, or have to do something - place your hand on your heart and ask, "Do I really want to do this?"

We are naturally pulled to do what inspires us, not pushed to take action - that's the difference between intrinsic inspiration and extrinsic motivation.
3. The truth behind "It's hard because..." or "The problem is..."
Have you ever said, “I’m so tired” and gained a burst of energy??Or talked yourself out of doing something because it was ‘too hard’ and made it easier??Or dwelled on what you perceived you don’t have and obtained it?
Absolutely impossible. Because the truth is; when we focus on our limitations, we add fuel to the fire and burn through the possibilities of potential.?
Get out of your own way and give yourself permission to find the solution not the excuse.
