*Hi! You’re here because you’re a solopreneur creating an intentionally small business with high profit and you want to learn how to strategize, organize and systematize to scale while still living a life you love.??
In this world of overnight shipping, instant downloads, and 30-day promises, it’s easy to feel like everything should happen fast.?
But the truth??
Real progress doesn’t follow the same timeline as Amazon Prime.?
The meaningful, lasting changes—the ones that stick—they take time.
It's time to think in "Two Years" not "Two Months"?
We overestimate what we can achieve in a few weeks and underestimate what we can build in a few years. That’s the trap.
Why? Because it takes time for the roots to grow deep enough to weather any storm.
It’s the difference between a business that booms and busts and one that keeps thriving, no matter what.
Most people quit before they even see what’s possible.?
Don’t be most people.
?? It could be a year of planting seeds in your business before you see the first real harvest. You’ll get some shoots along the way, sure, but the deep roots? They take a while to grow.
?? It might take two years of consistently showing up on social media before people start seeing you as a go-to expert.
You’ll build relationships, have good days and ghost-town days, but that steady drip of content builds trust over time.
?? It could be a year of daily cycling before you stop feeling like you’re battling the hills and start to feel the joy of the ride.
But here’s the thing—we forget that the journey is happening, even when it feels like nothing’s changing.
It’s in those moments when you’re wondering if it’s even worth it that the real work is being done.
When I work with clients, our agreements are for one year.
Yes, a year.?
Are there exceptions? Of course.
But the truth is, this is a filter.
Their reaction tells me more about their mindset and ability to stick with something than anything else.
It shows me if they’re thinking in the long game, if they’re the type to keep showing up even when the results don’t appear right away.
And in the grand scheme of things, a year is nothing—a blip in time to lay the foundation for a strategized, systematized, balanced, and profitable business.
It’s not even that it takes a year to see profits or wins—those can happen sooner.
It’s that a year is about creating a bigger plan.
Anyone can make a quick buck, but building something that lasts??
That’s a different story.
It’s about working out the kinks, doing the real work, and building something sustainable that supports your life long-term.
And as they push through that year, they discover the power of patience and the consistency of effort and they build something sustainable.
That’s why I remind my clients:
The progress you can’t see right now is still progress.
It’s like learning to play an instrument.
At first, it’s just noise.
But after months of practice, you hit blend of notes that actually sound like music.
It’s messy, frustrating, and sometimes it feels like you’re just spinning your wheels—but then one day, you realize how far you’ve come.
And when you get there, it’s not because you rushed—it’s because you showed up, day after day, even when it felt slow, even when no one was clapping.
So take a deep breath, and give yourself the gift of patience.
Your Challenge This Week
Take that goal you’ve been focused on, and add 90 days.
If it's an income thing- then you shouldn't be focused on strategy right now?anyhow. In that case you need to switch to Cash Injection mode (Read about what that means and what to do about in the article HERE)
Feeling ok about the 90 day buffer? Great!
Track your progress along the way—without stressing over the results, only to witness?consistency.?
Remember, the work you’re doing today is the foundation for those wins you’ll celebrate tomorrow.
Trust that the work you’re doing today is the powerful path for what’s to come.
P.S.?If you've been patient and consistent and you're still not getting results...It might be time to chat about your strategy.?

1 个月Thanks for this post Tanya, I get so irritated with all the "overnight success" and "if I can do it, you can" content over-promising and under-delivering. Power to you for speaking to the less popular but so much more powerful side of success.
