Why Your First LinkedIn Article Is Key...?
Reading Time : 2 Mins
Till now, we have already lived through the initial years of digital age now, amidst very useful, efficient, quick and powerful opportunity offered by omnipresent segmented social media platforms to harness the power of networking, learning, growing and sharing back to the network/tribe/community.
Doing something First time, is usually has been a matter of joy, fear and nervousness , plus many hidden emotions, feelings, plans, calculations and miscalculations. As we all know, the first things could be like, First day in school, trying out First Liquor/Beer, First Cigarette, First Weed, First Board(Crucial) Exams, First Day in College, First Girlfriend, First Boyfriend, First Date and many more things, you know where I am heading to, and then First Interview, First Job, First Trip outside home country, and so on and so forth. The beauty of doing something first time lies in sheer feeling of starting and coming out of fear from anticipation of responses.
So, this article is dedicated to all LinkedIn friends, who have been using the platform for quite sometime now, to break that virtual glass ceiling. This article is attempt to nudge and exhort all, to just start sharing
- Something you are passionate about,
- Something which is close to your heart,
- Something you would like to inspire and encourage the folks around you with,
- Something you would like to share your learnings, journeys and experiences,
- Something you have as an unique story or even story telling skill
- Something which can be anything or everything under the sky, within terms and conditions... :-)
The last but not least, your that first article would bring you into producer zone (producer of content), instead of consumer alone till now. This is for sure, when you would have written and shared your first article or write-up, below few out of many glass ceilings would be shattered for good.
I cannot contribute anything to the network.
I am too busy with business, proposals, meetings and calls.
I cannot harness the power of networking, am OK being as bystander.
I cannot harness the power of engagement, am OK being as bystander.
I am just fine, as the consumer of the content produced by others.
I am sure, you would want to do it someday, sometime. Why can't that moment be now?
So, please, please, please, take charge, and take your chance, you would avoid missing out on this time of an amazing opportunity until you start writing, sharing and using this platform in true spirit of taking and giving back.
Happy Content Creation and Content Sharing...!
