Why your brain is basically Switzerland ????

Our brains are pretty clearly divided in two.?

But, do we really use one side more than the other, depending on what we’re best at??

You may have heard about the concept of being left or right brained. Left brain = logical and right brain = creative. But how true is it really?

The theory, coined by Nobel laureate and neuropsychologist Roger Sperry, dates back to the 1900s, but modern studies paint a different picture.

“If you performed...an autopsy on the brain of a mathematician and compared it to the brain of an artist, it’s unlikely you’d find much difference,”?

Harvard Medical School

Two sides, two roles

This part of the theory is true. Using brain scans, researchers found that the right half of your brain specializes in more ambiguous, creative tasks. Meanwhile, the left half of your brain deals with things like speaking and language.

But as for side dominance? It’s just not a thing.?

Thanks for this article ?? Dan Murray-Serter. Ultimately I find that regardless of theory, it's the practical application in our lives that matters. I've dedicated my life to the application of creative intelligence to get optimum results in business or life. Life experience tells me that there is so much we don't know about the mind and consciousness. Here is an article on creative intelligence. Hope it serves you..
