IT'S TIME TO FIND A MENTOR...
Mentoring is a chance for more experienced professionals to invest in the development of others. A mentor isn’t like a coach as they are just there to share life experiences and perspectives, especially if they are much older than you.
However, I do advocate and help companies set up reverse-mentoring, as there is much the younger generation can teach us!?
I’ve had some fantastic mentors in my life. Each of my mentors has given me alternative perspectives on everything from how to cultivate richer life aspirations, business building on a budget, to helping me advocate better for my health in hospitals, to badass negotiation skills. Some have made introductions and much more.
Excellence should not be left to chance, it’s an area we have to keep perfecting especially when it comes to achieving the contentment and fulfillment you desire in your work and life.
A mentor can skyrocket your work and life trajectory, it just takes a bit of time to find the right one. But once you do, ooh the fruits that it will grow, will be amazing!
Will you give it some thought as we enter October? There is no need to go it alone.
Let me know how you get on!!
