Why You Should Track Your Progress

I write really good LinkedIn comments ?? | Currently looking for a new Customer Success Associate role (DM me)
Earlier this month, I made some progress on improving my slide decks.
Each week, there's a change.?
Some font changes for readability. Different colors in the background. All good stuff.
My accountability partner mentioned I made 5 excellent improvements last week.
I asked: "How is it excellent?"
She mentioned 5 things:
1. The post is tied to the session
2. Text is clear with bold font this time to make it easy to understand.
3. Added my name on the bottom of the slides
4. Provided podcast resources
5. The CTA on the last slide is clear.
Here are two lessons on why it's important to track your progress:
Lesson #1: To celebrate your wins.
We don't celebrate wins often enough.
My friend Summer shared with me on Monday that my hashtag #CraigNotes has hit 200 followers. Thank you, Summer.
9 months ago, my first post of this year in January, I had 58 followers.
Now, it's 202.
This is the power of posting every week, even when you don't think it's good enough.
Be humble, keep going, and be thankful.?
Lesson #2: To continue to improve.
When you improve, you see how far you came.
You don't realize it until someone tells you.
There is always another level to reach.
Look back at your posts, comments, or what your goal is about.
Compare it to a month ago. See how far you came.
Helps you to remember what you improved on.
The more you improve, the more you seek to become better.

It's always good to compare yourself to yourself. First, to grow, and secondly to have the confidence you dont have to be someone else.
