?? Why You Should Start Before You Feel Ready

I help founders build revenue growth, audience & personal brand ?? From 0 → $30M ARR | Startup & GTM Advisor & Builder ?? ex-LinkedIn & ex-Remote ?? | Founder: Huntrs
Tim Denning sent out a great newsletter yesterday.
With one simple question:
→ How do you get people to a website?
In other words, how do you make people aware that you and your services, and what you have to offer exist?
EASY:
→ You build an audience.
On social media.
That generates TRAFFIC.
And then you send people to that website.
Grab attention → To your website.
→ Build audience and a personal brand on platforms where you find the RIGHT eyeballs ??:
→ Convert the traffic.
?? Then put it on REPEAT.
That's the formula I used myself to build a 6-figure ($) business in one year.
That's the formula I teach to other founders.
HOW I GOT STARTED
I started trading time for money.
Then I built a program.
I do advisory and consultation calls.
I built content packages and services.
I built a newsletter.
I build digital guides/ebooks based on what people need help with.
I offer businesses to sponsor my newsletters.
I started another newsletter (now I have two)
I have built services that my company delivers to help founders grow their businesses.
When I couldn't meet the demand alone anymore
↓
I started outsourcing some of the work to contractors who works with me.
I give loads of stuff away for free.
I iterate constantly.
It's continuous improvement.
I also fail loads.
It doesn't matter.
It's a part of it.
And I keep on building my audience and personal brand online so I enable more people to find me.
People who need my services.
And I teach others how to build a lean & profitable online business.
↓
Fuelled with traffic from their personal brand.
My advice:
- start where you are
- start building an audience
领英推荐
- when you get to 10k followers → start a newsletter
A newsletter is next level of owning your own distribution.
When you have an audience you can build whatever business you want.
Start now.
Start where you are:
- start with pain
- start with fear
- start with doubt
We will never be 100% ready.
"But I don't know how"
→ We get clarity when we take action.
Start with what you have.
Start and DON'T STOP.
Because this ain't rocket science.
It just requires effort and persistence.
Run your own race.
It will be worth it ??
→ Here's HOW you can get started:
- build something of your own
- start a company with no experience
- put yourself in places you don't belong
- build your personal brand - increase the luck surface area in your life
When you start before you're ready, reality shifts drastically.
PS. If you enjoy this newsletter, please consider sharing this with your friends and family ??

5 个月Practice and preparation are important, but they are not a substitute for playing the game. Golf is a good example. You can take lessons, practice on the range, and develop a good swing with good ball flight. But to know how good you are, you have to play the game. In their book Peak, Anders Ericsson and Robert Pool explore the correlation between dedicated, disciplined practice and successful performance.
