Why you should pay attention to the chatGPT craze.

Unless you live under a rock, you've?heard about the trending?artificial intelligence and?automation tool?called?chatGPT.

Read up on it ?if you don't know what I'm talking about.?

The amazing thing about an automation tool like?chatGPT ?is that it makes it easier to find and regurgitate?info you?typically might have found?via a Google search, yet?it does so in a conversational?format that is?easily?read?and?shared.

In other words, chatGPT is a fascinating tool that is already saving people hours and hours of time.

But contrary to the opinion of some, if your role requires a lot of?knowledge curation and content creation, you're not going to lose your job to chatGPT. Well, not yet at least. Your role won't disappear, but?it WILL?change – whether you like it or not.

Because I have a full-time EA job, I don't have a ton of time to?produce more?resources for assistants.?

But with?a tool like chatGPT,?I can quickly draft?articles,?social media posts, podcast episode show notes, and other content. This?frees me up?to spend?the limited amount of?writing time I have?on?adding my own personal stories and opinions –?instead of spending so much time on?the part?of writing?that I don't enjoy?that takes a lot of time?–?the compiling of research, the first drafts,?and the staring at a blank screen wondering where to begin.?

I've been using other types of automation for years to help me reach more assistants?without spending more time on my "side hustle," and I'm excited to now have?a tool like chatGPT to add to the arsenal.

In summary, the knowledge curators?of?the world?who utilize a tool like chatGPT to draft and curate content, and then add?their?creative and personal?anecdotes to make their content?more human and relatable, will always out-perform those who refuse to embrace automation.

"But Jeremy, I'm not a knowledge curator."

Actually, if you're a Leader Assistant who sees yourself as a strategic partner to their executive, then?you are?a knowledge curator. Written communication is one of the most common skills?assistants must employ, and a tool like chatGPT can dramatically improve your written communication abilities –?at scale!

In short, it's chatGPT/AI/automation?PLUS?humans,?not?versus humans.

So take advantage of automation and spend more time doing things only humans can do!
