In this issue let us tell you why you should indeed book your next gathering with us. Well we've got 50 acres, and beds for up to 30 guests, so our Centre can offer you a refreshingly nature-connected alternative for your next team event, retreat, workshop or gathering ?

Did you know our beautiful spaces onsite are available for private hire? If you’re looking for a unique venue, the Common Knowledge centre offers you peaceful surroundings on our stunning 50 acres of natural bogland. Whether you’re planning a retreat, workshop, or corporate event, our range of beautiful spaces can cater to groups of all sizes.?

With bright event spaces like The Octagon and The Studio, a welcoming Lodge for overnight stays, catering from our renowned Common Knowledge kitchen team led by the Ottolenghi trained chef Ashely Gribben, we have everything you will need on site.

Interested in adding some inspirational activities? Whether you fancy making a chopping board in our workshop to take home, having a guided foraging experience or starting your day with yoga or breathwork, we will work with you to create a memorable experience.

And don't forget - when you stay with us, your group will also be supporting our work as a non-profit social enterprise, providing income for our community work and the ongoing regeneration of biodiversity on our site. We'll be happy to speak to your group about our work when you're here, too!

Crisp Apples and Classic Tunes: Celebrate Autumn at Our Heritage Open Day

We'd like to invite you? for a day celebrating the rich traditions of autumn on October 13th at our Common Knowledge centre in Kilfenora. We’ll kick off the festivities at 10am with an apple pressing workshop where you can learn how to turn fresh apples into delicious juice. Afterward, take a stroll with us around our 50-acre site in Kilfenora, where we’ll delve into discussions about heritage and biodiversity. Enjoy live music, sing along to some tunes, and of course, indulge in plenty of apples!

This event is for anyone interested in sustainable practices, nature, and history. It’s also a wonderful chance to meet fellow enthusiasts and connect with your community.

We can’t wait to welcome you for an afternoon filled with exploration, learning, and great company. Tickets are free but as spaces are limited, be sure to book your spot early.

22 September: Heritage Open Day - Nature Trail Restoration at Common Knowledge

You are invited to join the Common Knowledge team for our September Heritage Open Day.
