Early this year, I was surfing the street of Instagram when I came across a video on John Boyega’s page who is a popular English actor that is known for playing Finn in the popular Star Wars Sequel trilogy films. John invited his parents, Samson and Abigail Boyega to come for an interview. On getting there, cameras were already set so the whole setting looked like a proper interview session so his parents already came prepared. Along the line, they took a tour round the building where the interview session was holding only for him to break out the news to them. Guess what the news was? Well it happened to be a good news that every parents will be proud of and looking forward to hear from their son. He was like and I quote “On behalf of myself, I would like say thank you for everything that you have done. I’ve decided to do a secret project for a few months and I’m here to tell you there’s no interview, that was a lie. This is your house that I’m presenting to you. This is your new house, it belongs to you. So we wanted to present the house to you today”. 

As a Parent, what will be your reaction? Or how would you feel about it?

His parents were overwhelmed with emotions and didn’t know what to say only for tears of joy to roll down their cheeks. Buying a gift for someone you truly love or value goes a long way in their heart. It makes them feel loved and honored. Why don’t you walk up to the owners or agents in charge of the houses and ask for a flexible payment plans. It could be a payment plan that allows you pay a sum of money monthly for 3 months, 6 months, 12 months or even 24 months. Doing this makes that piece of real estate affordable and easy for you to achieve that dream home of yours. By the time you are done completing all the payments, you will be proud of yourself and by the time you look back, you will be surprised and happy that you actually achieved this. I know of some Real Estate companies that I work with that offer similar flexible payment plans. One of them is currently running a Five hundred thousand Naira discount on Faifield Apartments and Mansfield Apartment in Abijo and Surulere respectively. Be it one bedroom, two bedroom, or a penthouse and this allows you to spread payment across 12 months without interest although this promo ends February 15th, 2020.
