Despite that, they’ve never officially broken the contract with you or terminated their professional relationship with your company. They just?aren’t buying from you right now.

The first step in getting these customers back to active status is, of course, to identify them. Depending on how your company typically contacts and keeps up with customers, your approach to this will change. You can browse your client roll, for example, or sift through your email list. No matter how you choose to make it happen, compile a list of satisfied customers who have been inactive for some time.
Prepare Your Marketing
Now that you’ve identified your inactive customers, you’ve got to decide how you’re going to reach out to them. You can’t exactly just email and say, “Hey – what have you been up to?” Instead, you’ve got to tailor a message that will re-engage these dormant customers and inspire them to get involved with your company again.

3 年I want to respond to this with multiple steps: 1. Why the client leaves. A number of reasons, such as: A. Not being able to understand the work done by the Marketing team. Now, this can be put on the marketing team or on the client, depending upon the situation that who was rigid! B. Didn't get the desired results. Again, this can be either the marketing team did not implement the correct strategies or the client had some super high set goals but not properly optimized landing pages. C. They are getting some 'cheaper' offers from other marketing teams! Now, as I have mentioned quite a few times above, it is not always one's fault. So, the best thing is to analyze and apply the lesson. If a client comes back, most welcome. If he doesn't, don't let the relationship ruin by blocking him/her! Let the swiftness be there so that they can come back after getting robbed by the "self-acclaimed best guys"

3 年Vishnuhari Harikumar , the important question is "why they no more taking your services?" And the answer for this could be many... Yeah, if they have stopped taking services from you and still considering you or still in good relationships, can be brought back. To me, marketing is kind of dating where if you bring back your ex, could be a pain in the a** sometimes.
