Why are you pitching work for free?
Are you still pitching work for free?
My name is Bryan Grant, founder of Bryan Grant Studios in Beverly Hills, CA. We're a design consultancy, specializing in high-end motion graphics and animation for global brands. Recently on Linkedin, I've seen several articles about how studios and agencies are STILL not charging for their pitch work. Are you included? Just know that's a choice you're making. Listen, I understand the fundamental dilemma we all face as creative entities in the "pitch process", but it's simple to change the perception that you have to pay to get in.
With over 27 years of experience, I've found the way to obtain client business without working for free.
I'm opening my email to anyone who wants to hear more about how we obtain projects from global clients & entertainment titans while charging for our concept work. I'm not gonna sell you anything or ask for a thing in return. With enough of us standing up to this, my hope is that this won't be a conversation where agencies are losing money annually on pitching work. Remember, YOU decide whom YOU want to work with. Period!
I'd love to hear your thoughts, your point of view, and even your struggles regarding this topic. I'm here to help and share my experiences.
