Here are my favorite career search tips of the week in a 1-minute read!

Career Search TIP of the week:
The average job search takes 5-7 months. You read that correctly.
If you want to have a job lined up once you graduate college, you’ll want to begin looking now (if you’re a senior, that is!) because the average successful search takes anywhere from 5-7 months. While it could take a much shorter amount of time to find your new career position, it’s a great idea to get a leg up now.
As the saying goes, "Timing is everything!"?
There are certain months of the year when you’ll have a higher chance of getting more interviews, and January-April fall into the window where companies devote more time to filling open jobs. Those months are considered peak hiring season.
If you’re thinking, “I’m not ready to begin my position just yet!” that’s quite alright! Let your potential employer know that you will be graduating from college soon and what your available start date is.?
