I engaged my mentor yesterday evening for about 3 hours to discuss life and business progress. We had discussions around certain life decisions and he gracefully shared an experience with me that launched me on another mode.

You must have assessed your own goals and life expectations and choose thereby. You can choose a mentor and a mentor can also choose you. I’ve chosen a mentee before and a mentee has chosen me. I chose my mentor and wrote him a mail. We met and that’s how it all started. So, it can go either way

6 年The need for a Mentor can never be overemphasized. For me a Mentor is like a forerunner who has gone before you and seen a lot of challenges but who was able to overcome them or learn from them. When you venture in life without a Mentor, it is synonymous with you being blind, you trip over certain hurdles that could easily have been avoided if you had someone holding your hands and directing you.
