Why you need to be creating content for your product or service

Content Marketing is very important. I'm going to go over three topics here. First is brand, right? Essentially the reason why you want to be doing content and whether that's video content, whether that's writing articles, white papers, you know, doing photos, whatever infographics, whatever about your product or services, you want to create brand awareness.

If people don't know about you or your brand, why would they even buy it in the first place? Right. That's the kind of the more important things about the content marketing is brand awareness right? Branding yourself. I'm Howie Lim. I am an entrepreneur. I'm a head hunter. I do searches in the U S in Japan.

And in Asia, I have my niche in the Asian market, right. My bilingual talent. That's how you know me. That's who I am. I am creating my brand. So maybe for you, you're creating your brand as a thought leader, a public speaker for sales training. You want to create content around doing videos. You want to do webinars presentation, that you are the go-to sales trainer in your niche, right.

Creating brand, creating brand brand awareness. So that is one of the important factors of why you need to be creating content right. On a daily basis, right. To establish authority.

That leads into number two, which is authenticity and leadership. Why do you have the credentials to do what you're doing? If you just have it on your title or your, your name card or whatever, I am a, you know, a sales VP.

I am a financial advisor for the high net worth individuals over $10 million. Right. That's great. Anyone can put that name on a card or a placard or whatever, but you need to be showing you need to be demonstrating your authority and leading. By creating content that proves that you can advise these peoples.

If we were taking the former example right. You're going to create authenticity and leadership. So that's another important facet about content creation. Demonstrate your understanding of the markets of your, of the area in which you're doing. Right. So let me give you an example.

Let's say that you're creating a new shaver for men.

Maybe you want to approach it from an engineering perspective, right? Show, you know, kind of like Dyson has, if you look at Dyson for example, right, the way they've kind of structured their authority or leadership in the vacuum market is they've kind of taken a scientific or engineering approach to actual product development.

If you look at their commercials, dissect the, the product, right. Kind of from an engineering perspective, why is this more efficient? Why is the air flow better here? Right. They're doing all this to create a kind of demonstrating their understanding of the market of the, of the vacuum work and what have you.

So there's a plethora of other reasons why you should be creating. Yeah content. Right. People laugh at us, but you know, like, look at some of the, the, like, you know, like for example, Robert Kiyosaki, he's well-known for his rich dad, poor dad, Grant Cardone, you know, he has his haters and lovers.

Right. But these people were never even on the market. You wouldn't, you did not know about, I did not know about that, but being able to flood the market with visuals or with their understanding with content they were able to kind of develop this business essentially, right? Content marketing is so important, right?

But not just haphazardly, throwing out there, but understanding where, what service, you know, what service you're providing, what business you're providing, being. Well-tailored understanding that niche, being able to value, add to people, which is the most important and being a servant of people hope.
