How well do you know your audience?
For example, do you know who’s going to see your Facebook Live? And do you know the key reasons why they’re listening to you?
Chances are, you probably don’t know Facebook’s algorithm.
This is where audience audit comes in.
Here’s the thing. When you want to test something, you typically have little control over if your audience will see it.
But what you can do is identify the platform that your audience is hanging out on and discover what they like. Once you have that information, you can talk to them directly. You’ll now have more control over what they see and how they receive it.
The audience audit is about knowing who your audience is. And it starts by creating your champion list.
WHO ARE YOUR BRAND’S CHAMPIONS?
These are the people who think that you walk on water. They’re the people who love to talk about you. It’s like they think that everything you say is gold and everything you do is effective.
Many people actually have great things to say about you and your products or services. These are your champions.
You may be wondering if they even exist. But if you've been in business for a while, know that you have them. And they're almost always your customers for life.
Everyone has those people around.
What you want to do now is to list their names - this is your champion list. Write down as many as you can. It'll surprise you to find how many you can come up with.
Your brand’s champions will help you do all that marketing because they believe in you and your business. They’re the ones who will put in a good word out for you to other people, sometimes even without you asking them to.
And wouldn’t you like that?
If you want to know more about how you can put this to good use, visit us at our website. We would love the chance to talk to you about it.
If you think your business will go far without your audience and champion list, think again.
