I was recently going through a rough phase in my Professional Life and my fall back option like always is my PAPA .I called him and I discussed the whole matter and asked what should i do - he replied think of 5 years from now, what is your vision ? is this thing hampering you reach that vision or it is going to help you reach there .if it does stick to or else leave this problem as it is time will fix it just be patient. And I overcame that
As I was growing older he was always around so these are things that I have learnt from him.
Be optimistic - During early days of my school days he put his immense faith in me being in the science stream like PCM and pursuing flying as I always wanted to do something related to Engineering or flying. He instilled that optimism into me and I sailed through all of it.
Build Real relationships - He has a very huge social circle as he has almost 3 decades of work experience as a lecturer and I have never seen him ignoring any of his friends.he always put people first in his job.his students are rocking in multiple domains of life.We always get that respect of being "Master saab ka beta" .
Have your Backup ready - He started his early career as asst lecturer in teaching before that he was running a small medical shop in a village. He stuck to studies and cracked the exams in early?90s. As?soon as i finished my Engineering after one year of my degree he enrolled me in Del.ed course which i cleared along with UPTET and CTET both papers so that i have my backup ready in teaching if things go wrong in corporate.I can anytime go back to teaching leaving all things all thanks to my father.
Family is everything and you need to respect their choice- I never knew he will be the coolest father ever as all cousins before me had an arranged marriage and I was planning something out of the league getting married to my own girlfriend who was not from my caste nor from my state. He accepted all 4 children's career choices and supported them in every way possible.

Save money for the future - I will narrate it with a real example of my marriage. It has to be arranged on my own and as we know huge amounts of money is required even for a smallest reception. He came to our rescue.Managing the whole event on his own.
Be patient and don't quit too early- I survived through 11 SSB interview attempts.I cracked 8 AFCAT & 5 CDS exams and still that Zeal to join TA is?On. My father was my biggest cheerleader for me when I failed. The first call that I made was to him like always. He said " koi bat nahi ek bar aur karle par pareshan mat hona" means (Do it one more time but dont be stressed out).
Punish when required & Tit for tat for dumb people - He literally thrashed me when i was wrong or performed bad in studies or in exams but made me learn the importance of punishments. He also made us learn how you can be mature while tackling dumb people at workplace being knowledgeable.Act logical in your workplace.
For Your Success and glory
