I was getting bore spending my day with my work from home (WFH) table. I was inactive, could not go outside in this pandemic and lockdown. I thought of doing some workout in a limited space at my home. However, the exercises seemed too odd to perform in front of the family members, who were having a good amount of physically active time with their routine household work. Still, I wanted to continue my exercise to be physically active. Then the idea of learning dance stuck in my mind, which I felt could be engaging to my family members as well. However, one needs a coach to learn dance. And, the current lockdown due to pandemic breakout does not permit in-class learnings. However, online dance learning from youtube came as the right solution to the problem of not going for in-class learnings.
I remember the dance parties, where I struggled to sake legs with my friends and family members. I felt embarrassed and thought of learning this fantastic social skill some time. One can observe some older people also feeling no shy in dance and shaking legs in different parties. I have also seen groups of embarrassed people from all walks of a generation, not able sake their waists in great grand parties. They also think of learning dance at that time, but forget due to various work engagements. Now, I must say that if there would be any perfect time to learn dance, this is the time, the time of lockdown.
The lockdown is tiring for so many people living idle at home. This inactivity can make them feel super bored. However, if they decide to learn something, which is engaging and making them feel active is this skill, the skill of dance.
