The importance of setting up Google My Business. If you own a service-based or brick and mortar business you must set this up! 

 Google My Business is not a new concept, but one I believe local businesses don’t understand the importance of. 

 All customers start the buying process with a search. We are in a digital world, we research everything before we take action. That’s the power of the internet.

 Google has given local businesses search priority for free! If you understand the search engine game, my last statement is crazy town. Everything on the internet is monetized. Not Google My Business, it’s completely free.

 What’s the big deal. I have a website. Unfortunately, for most businesses that don’t understand SEO and Adwords and every other internet marketing tactic. Your customers will never find said website unless you type the web address for them. Just being real.

 So, that makes Google My Business even more important than your website. Yes, I said it. Sorry someone charged you 5k for that website that no one will ever see.

 Once you setup your GMB, Google will let your business show up in top rankings when customers search for local services that match your business. Many times you make the front page!
