In 2014, Russell Wilson and Ciara established the Why Not You Foundation to serve the community and commit their passions and time to create a better tomorrow.?

The 2nd decade of the Why Not You Foundation will reach new heights. The Foundation, board, along with Russell and Ciara, are excited to announce the hire of Janelle Hahn to serve as the new National Executive Director. The search was conducted in partnership with The Batten Group. a leading executive search firm.?

Janelle comes with over 15-years of experience leading reputable, national, nonprofit teams at organizations like Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Make-A-Wish America.? During her career Janelle has individually raised over $100 million for youth serving organizations, and led teams to annually raise $85 million.? Most recently, Janelle served as the Founder for Purpose Unites, an individualized social impact consultancy. Janelle’s vision, grit, and heart lead to transformation, and that is exactly what the Why Not You Foundation is committed to achieve.??

From Seattle, to Denver, to Pittsburgh, Why Not You Foundation has made a lasting impact in local communities, aligning with partners, like the Seattle and Denver Children’s Hospital, while supporting other youth-serving organizations. “Why Not You is committed to greatness and bettering lives, one child at a time,” says Janelle.? “I am honored to lead us forward, driving heightened national and local impact, and ultimately change the trajectory for deserving youth”.??
