As I scroll through the?posts,?I’m?amazed at how many LI members miss the basic rules of marketing.??Do you want click throughs? Emails, Phone calls or do you want comments and likes? Either way most are missing the mark.??Marketing/Sales has a specific formula.?It’s?like this:?

1. ?Attention??
2. Interest?
3. Conviction?
4. Desire?
5. Action?

Skip one of these 5 steps and?you’re?out?

1. Attention is the most difficult step. You?have to?grab the reader’s attention in the first 3 seconds. Every product or service is in our face trying to get our attention. You really need to concentrate on getting the reader’s attention or?they’ll?scroll right past your post.?

How do you grab the reader’s attention???Learn how by looking at the other posts and ads on the internet. Why did you stop to read those posts or adverts???Something got your attention. What was it???Why would a reader stop at your?post? What is your USP, Universal Selling Proposition???Fine tune your headline. You want a headline that grabs the reader. If you, do it right, the reader will stop scrolling and invest the time to read the first line in your post.?If the first line of your post?doesn’t?capture their interest,?you’re?out.?
