Why are you doing what you are doing ?

None of us really need to be motivated to pursue what we truly enjoy doing. When we find something that brings us deep fulfillment, we engage in it wholeheartedly without obsessing over what we might gain from it or how much money we might make from it. When we take inspired and intuitive action aligned with what we love doing the most, we can let go of control and detach from specific outcomes. For me, this is the key to living a truly satisfying life.

I have been truly blessed in life to spend time with and learn from a few mentors and some being Paul Matthews, Wayne Dyer (RIP), Jack Canfield, Joe Dispenza and Deepak Chopra has reached out to me to work on his next collaboration coming out at the beginning of 2025.

Many of us lose our motivation because what we’re doing doesn’t bring us genuine heartfelt satisfaction or match who we really are. When our inner needs go unmet, we often feel unfulfilled, no matter how hard we try. Without engaging in something that genuinely excites us, our motivation fades, leading to burnout or even depression.

Without engaging in something that genuinely excites us, our motivation inevitably fades. When our actions are not aligned with our passions or interests, they begin to feel more like obligations or chores. We may initially push ourselves through sheer willpower or external pressure, but this approach is unsustainable. Over time, the energy required to keep going becomes increasingly draining, leading to burnout, frustration, and even a sense of emptiness.

True motivation is fueled by an intrinsic desire—a natural pull toward something that resonates deeply within us. When we engage in activities that excite us, we feel energized and inspired. Our enthusiasm becomes self-sustaining because we’re not just chasing outcomes or rewards; we’re driven by the joy and satisfaction the process itself brings. In these moments, effort feels effortless, and challenges are embraced as opportunities for growth rather than obstacles to avoid.

On the other hand, when we engage in pursuits that don’t align with who we truly are, we start questioning the point of what we’re doing. The excitement wears off, and we find ourselves constantly seeking distractions or excuses to avoid the work. This lack of genuine interest creates a vicious cycle—without excitement, we lose motivation, and without motivation, we struggle to perform at our best, which only deepens our dissatisfaction.

This is why finding what excites us is crucial. Whether it’s a career path, a hobby, or a personal goal, when we’re aligned with our true passions, our motivation becomes a natural byproduct. We’re no longer simply going through the motions; instead, we’re engaged, fulfilled, and driven by a sense of purpose. Passion provides the energy, resilience, and creativity we need to persist and thrive, even when faced with challenges. It’s this alignment that keeps us inspired and propels us forward, turning what could have been a mundane task into a meaningful journey.

It is only when we recognize our true Self that we can truly find peace. By letting go of selfish thoughts, we open ourselves to tranquility and a deeper sense of purpose.

Don’t do anything to prove yourself, but focus on improving yourself. Real success isn’t about showing your worth to others; it’s about learning, growing, and using your experiences to become your "Best Self of your True Self—the real you".

Some people measure success by trying to prove themselves superior to others. Their true goal is to feed their ego, not to achieve genuine success. When we act out of a need to boast or compare, we lose sight of our authentic goals and are left with nothing but a sense of pride. Those who aim for true success don’t worry about what others think; instead, they focus their time and energy on self-improvement. In doing so, they serve the world by becoming their best selves.

Choosing to improve yourself requires an honest look at where you are, where you want to be, and what it takes to bridge that gap. This process involves setting goals, learning new skills, cultivating positive habits, and letting go of what no longer serves you. Growth is not about perfection; it’s about progress. It’s about taking consistent steps towards becoming more aligned with your values, purpose, and passions. By choosing to grow, you continuously evolve into a more centered human being that’s better equipped to handle life’s challenges and take advantage of its opportunities.

However, self-improvement also requires you to fully accept the person you are today. This acceptance isn’t about settling for less or denying areas where you can grow; it’s about acknowledging your current strengths, limitations, and your unique qualities without judgment. When you embrace who you truly are, flaws and all, you being building a foundation of self-compassion and self-love. From this foundation, any growth becomes a natural extension of your self-respect rather than a desperate attempt to change out of self-criticism or fear. True transformation happens when growth comes from a place of love and acceptance, not from dissatisfaction.

This balance between striving for growth and practicing self-acceptance is what creates a successful present and future. When you invest in yourself—whether by learning, healing, or refining your character—you open up possibilities that may have seemed out of reach. Your future success becomes more assured because you’ve built the internal resources needed to navigate life with resilience, confidence, and clarity.

Moreover, this journey of growth and acceptance doesn’t just benefit you; it also positions you to guide and help others. When people see someone who is both committed to their personal growth, their professional growth and at peace with themselves, they are inspired by that authenticity and strength. You naturally become a role model, showing others that it’s possible to evolve while still embracing who you are. Your ability to understand and support others deepens because you’ve walked the path of both self-improvement and self-acceptance. By embodying this balance, you become a source of encouragement, wisdom, and guidance for those around you, helping them on their own journeys toward becoming their best selves.
