Seeing the FCC recommend strategies like schedule various users of your network's time kind of irked me. Really, if you take a few minutes out to configure your home router's QoS (or preferably) SQM implementation, and kill your bufferbloat, your network will share WAY better. I wrote a rant here: videoconferencing better in an age of bufferbloat

Really, given how prevasive the solutions are today, you just need to take a few minutes out and turn 'em on.

I keep trying to tell people their zoom calls are bad most likely because of bufferbloat haha.
