Why, this year, you need to be purpose driven

In December, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce?wrote that the "U.S. economy is in for a bumpy 2023. Businesses should be prepared, and as always, also be prepared for those unexpected events that come out of nowhere."?

Many people that I have been speaking to seem to be feeling this uncertainty; as a business owner, I share this nervousness. But there is a danger of being caught in the headlights. To prevent this, we need to commit to a path and be ready to adapt.?

While almost cliched now, I do think it essential that we are crystal clear about what our #purpose is and how to get there. In what is increasingly a team endeavor, I truly believe that Purpose is The Discipline Your Organization Needs. Among other things, it provides the bedrock from which we can navigate the #newworldofwork and create the #flexiblework work models that will help attract and retain the #talent that is essential to turning threats into opportunities.

As the saying goes, we live in interesting times! And they demand bold thinking.
