And I could probably write down more statements for you now and you know exactly that these statements are important for you as a manager and coach, right? But it usually fails due to implementation, because your subconscious emotional mind controls 95% of your behavior.
Imagine that your subconscious mind has 6 drawers and accesses 2 essential drawers that you have unconsciously prioritized. And a box that most people get stuck in is feeling significant, important, needed and unique. Important when the leader is successful, important when he can control others and important when he is the center of attention.
These drawer costs many managers and football coaches their results, because this unconscious behavior causes them to lose connection to their team. And people don't follow your ego, people follow your heart.
For example according to the Gallup Engagement Index 7,3 million employees in Germany have resigned internally, which costs the German economy between 132 and 167 billion euros in 2023.

Of course there are more reasons to change a coach or why a coach quits, but a team can always control your results. And as a leader and coach you need a specific role and behavior. If some persons on a team don't follow you everything slows down.
All teams are groups, but not all groups are teams.
Jürgen Klopp said: “You are not allowed to control your team, but to listen to your team, love them and accompany them.” And to implement this behavior, you have choose a different drawer. A drawer that leads from a ego driven leader to a servant leader and then you will get what you really want – joy, love, success , fulfillment and recognition.
