Why Working Across Cultures Inspires Me

I recently had the opportunity to expand my role and collaborate with new teams in Egypt and South Africa. And it has filled me with inspiration and optimism.

These talented groups of people have welcomed me into their close-knit cultures. They have shared their passions, their stories, their hopes. And we have found common ground in our shared purpose - to grow, to develop, and to provide exceptional service and care for our customers.

As Simon Sinek so wisely says, "When we share values and beliefs with others, we feel a connection. We feel inspired." I am grateful for these connections. For the richness they have brought to my life and perspective.

Our Egyptian team is so committed, so strong in living our service ideals, in uplifting humanity. Their resolve lifts my own. Our South African team brims with promise and potential. Their energy motivates me. They are the reason I am excited to come to work each day.

There is nothing more meaningful than working alongside people who inspire you — who push you to be your best self. My expanding role has given me this priceless gift.

These teams are not just my colleagues. They are my inspiration. When I see the world through their eyes - I see the boundless heights of what we can achieve when we work hand-in-hand, with openness, trust and care for our shared human experience. This fills me with hope.

My mission now is to give back. To listen, to empower, and to lift up these teams in turn. To help awaken their talents. Unlock their potential for greatness. And unleash their ability to inspire those around them.
