Why Work with Dreams?

Dreams are the touchstones of our characters. -- Thoreau
Although many perceive dreamwork to be an antiquated practice, current research shows it accelerates and deepens psychotherapy: clients engage more deeply when dreams are discussed, dreams can be diagnostic, and provide creative avenues and solutions for stuck places. They drop the conversation into deeper, more authentic places. For those who suffer from nightmares, which are linked to PTSD, suicide, depression, anxiety and self-harm, treatment is both imperative and quite simple.
My online dreamwork class opens Oct. 20, and I am offering a free look at the first module. This module provides an overview of the 2-part course and then provides a complete answer to the question, why work with dreams in clinical practice? This half-hour video will give you a clear sense of the course content, and I hope, a sense of just how valuable dreamwork can be! Right now, if you sign up, you receive my short, focused course on nightmare treatment as a free bonus.
