Why? What? The order is important.

Why??What??Certainly, both questions are important.?Of greater significance is the order in which they are asked.?
News sells.?What happened, the details of how it happened, and the impact it had engage us.?As does the reaction:
---- > What do we do now?
What steps are being taken to mitigate or capitalize on what just happened? What can be done to get there more quickly?
>>>>>>> Motion is mesmerizing.?
Wisdom is in the “Why?”.?Posing the question “Why?” challenges us.?It is uncomfortable to delay reacting, consider uncertainty, evaluate risks and options.?It takes courage to ask “Why?“ while the world does what it moves on with so quickly.?
Yet “Why?” engages our curiosity, our compassion, and our creativity.?“Why?“ leads to balance in risks, decisions, and outcomes.?Considering “Why?” helps us find the root cause, select and efficient course and find meaning, satisfaction, and success in the outcome.?Only “Why?“ can hope to find us the right choice in what.?
The focus of my work is to help people, who are sometimes clients, get to good outcomes more easily.?Very often that means supporting them through the messy, murky, uncomfortable question of “Why?”, before the sweaty, speedy, work of what.?
Only with a good round of “Why?” can you get to what works, what will go smoothly, and what will serve your purpose.
My recommendation: be patient with “Why?” and put it first.?Then move quickly knowing what has a chance of working for you.?

1 年Howard, how very true. Uncertainty is so often ignored in Pharma, with catastrophic results. Either ignorance is bliss or they have skeletons in the closet
