In just five years, this San Francisco–based company topped the $1 billion mark in annual transactions and is currently valued at $12 billion.

Faire’s mission is to connect small vendors and retailers around the world so they can do business as easily as large suppliers. And this mission has been fully realised over the last year with Faire giving over 6,000 small business owners $60 million in inventory credit to help them open new stores or launch online sites.
‘Faire puts us in front of retailers across the world that may have never discovered us through the more traditional B2B routes of trade shows or paid advertising.’ Says Alice Parmenter , Creative Director of Pineapple Island UK , an ethical jewellery and bohemian accessories merchant who started using Faire to expand their business.

Unsurprisingly, many small businesses have seen unparalleled growth with Faire’s support. With growth, comes a necessity for best practice processes and automation. By integrating Faire into the retail operating systems of growing retailers, we’ve been allowing growing merchants to seamlessly position their goods in front of Faire’s vast customer base with ease.
In our integration, SKU matching between both systems ensures inventory levels are kept updated in Faire meaning merchants never miss out on a sales opportunity or oversell stock. Sales orders are fully synchronised and once shipped in Brightpearl by Sage , the tracking references are sent back to Faire. Tax mapping automatically calculates tax, where necessary, for all sales orders and the integration supports both shipping methods available to merchants using Faire.
‘The integration has saved about 2 hours in admin time a day so far, as before we were having to input all our stock quantities and invoices manually. For us, as we have so many different channels, the best part of the integration is the stock control. Before, an item would go out of stock in the warehouse from being sold on a different channel and still show as in stock on Faire – so we would have to refund the customer.’ Says Alice.
