Why We’re Rebranding To Healthee

When we first launched Insurights in 2021, our mission was to help employees be healthier by making health benefits simple and accessible to everyone, everywhere. And the way we planned to accomplish that was helping people navigate their health plans.?
Today, our mission hasn’t changed. But our path to getting there has evolved.?
We’ve been lucky to experience a lot of demand as a young company. As we engaged in conversations with our users and learned more about their needs, we realized that they don’t just want to understand their health insurance plans.
They have a deeply-rooted desire to be healthier.?
In other words, employees want to understand how to navigate their entire health journeys—not just their health plans. In this post, I’ll share how this realization led to the launch of our new name, Healthee.?
Creating a ripple effect with Healthee
A company’s brand and logo are about more than just aesthetics. They represent the heart of the organization. What you stand for as a product. Your vision for the future.
After interacting with countless employees and HR leaders, and seeing how they use our product, we realized that ‘Insurights’ didn’t reflect what we wanted to help our customers and users accomplish. So we decided to change that.?
The name
We chose the name Insurights because it was straightforward. Anyone who saw our brand could immediately guess that our company had something to do with insurance. But we realized that what we offer now, and plan to offer in the future, is much broader then what the Insurights name currently represents.
We don’t just want to help employees navigate their health plans. We want to help them—and their loved ones—make better, more informed decisions about their health—and we want to be part of their journey to becoming healthier humans. That’s why we ultimately decided to re-name ourselves to Healthee—to represent our commitment to healthy employees.
The logo?
When we look at our new logo, we see a continuous ripple. And that represents our mission.?
It all starts with the employee—they’re at the center of the ripple. When your people understand their health plans, they’ll better utilize their benefits and become healthier. When your employees are healthier, they’re less stressed, focused, and happier in their jobs. Because your employees are your most valuable asset and influence every part of your value chain, this, in turn, makes your company healthier. And it goes on and on and on.?
Eventually, as we continue to scale these frictionless interactions between employees and their healthcare benefits, the impact of this ripple effect will slowly, but surely, push the healthcare system—and society—in the right direction.

You’ll also notice that the ripple in our logo isn’t closed—it’s open, constantly in motion. Because we believe that becoming healthier is a continuous journey. You’ll never hear anyone say “I’m healthy enough” or “our employees are healthy enough.” Becoming healthier is a lifelong journey, and it’s one that we want to be there for.?
The colors
Most people wouldn’t look at our colors and assume that we’re part of the health and wellness industry. The industry typically relies on cold colors like matte black or sterile white.?
With Healthee, we wanted to break out of this norm and use warm colors that make people feel at home—not intimidated or uncomfortable. You’ll also notice that our colors are bright and highly visible. This was intentional. One of our goals is to make healthcare benefits accessible, transparent, and easy to see. And now we feel like our brand represents that sentiment.?
Where does Zoe fit into the picture?
For those familiar with our company, you might wonder how Zoe fits into the picture. Don’t worry, Zoe is here to stay and ready to be your employees’ Personal Healthcare Assistant. In fact, our new brand aligns even better with her role in our company. How??
Zoe is committed to your employees’ journeys.?
The journey to becoming healthier is far from straightforward. There’s no such thing as the “right” path, and being responsible for every micro-decision can feel incredibly overwhelming.?
That’s why it’s critical to give employees support from day one—whether that’s answering questions about their health plan, booking an appointment, or simply giving them the occasional nudge in the right direction. And that’s exactly what Zoe does. The best part? She’s available 24 hours a day, seven days per week.?
Zoe understands where the ripple starts.?
Zoe knows that the journey to becoming healthier starts with the individual—and that every employees’ needs are different. That’s why if a user tells her they have back pain, she won’t give them a generic recommendation that they could easily find on Google.
Instead, she gives them options to choose from, based on their coverage and profile—whether that’s receiving massage therapy, seeing a chiropractor, or making an appointment with an orthopedist. She even provides estimated costs and a quality score so your employees can get the best-value care.?
Zoe is trustworthy.?
Sometimes, employees don’t want to tell their manager about their mental health issues or plans to get pregnant. They may worry about the potential consequences or simply feel uncomfortable.
But with Zoe, employees don’t have to worry about that. They can rest easy knowing that every interaction with her is 100% confidential. You also don’t have to wait until the next open enrollment period to introduce her to the organization. Employees have questions now, and Zoe is ready to answer them at any time. And soon, you’ll be able to put a face to the name (but more on that later).?

For me, this rebrand is about so much more then a name change or a logo update. It represents the fact that our team is listening to the needs of our users and customers.
